INTEGRATED GEOMANCY

Facility Siting. Simplified.

PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT

The planning processes behind the location, construction, and life-cycle of assets within an oilfield and its distribution can be tricky and time-consuming. This development requires input from multiple teams, consideration of infrastructure and areas in the region, and the evaluation of results generated from such a study. It is a long, tedious process for which every step must be accounted.

What do we know about this? We know that there are ways to approach it that can offer better, more consistent results. We want you to know this too.

Meet Integrated Geomancy, the Add-In for ArcGIS that provides a solution for nearly every scenario your team might encounter.

CREATE PROJECTS, NOT CHAOS
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

With each project your team tackles comes mountains of input data, customized settings, analysis results, and reports. Depending on the size and development of the region in question, you could be faced with actively managing a high volume of information.

To help combat the overwhelming sense of dread that might otherwise accompany this responsibility, Integrated Geomancy employs a strict project structure to keep source data, output, and settings in a centrally accessible location. Organizing these valuable assets into file geodatabases and system folders makes referencing them easy and intuitive for both analysts and the toolkit alike.

CUSTOMIZATION IS A
CROWD PLEASER
DATA MANAGEMENT

When discerning the placement of facilities and pipelines, we encourage you to create a model that is as accurate a representation of its real-life counterpart as possible. This is accomplished by including spatial data for aspects like surface geology, land cover, hydrology, restricted areas, and much - did we say much - more!

By adding these layers atop the elevation data used within your project, you are able to model not only the environmental factors that will impact development in the study area but also everything in between. The inclusion of residential areas, high traffic zones, political boundaries, etc. produce a vision of regions that may impact placement.

ASSET MODEL
DON'T SEE IT? DRAW IT!
ASSET MODEL

While your team is busy adding data to your model, you may run into proposed placements for infrastructure and assets that either are not included in a dataset or you simply want to locate on the fly.

In situations like those, Integrated Geomancy is one step ahead of you. Special tools allow you to draw well pad sites and routes, specify Right-of-Way (RoW) measurements, and designate start-, end-, and mid-points for corridor analysis...just to name a few.

In turn, these assets are saved as source data for your project. Why make your future self do the same work twice?

SCENARIO ADAPTATION

The location of assets can be affected by any number of circumstances. From the construction of a new roadway that should be bypassed or limiting the number of wells to bring online from your original proposal - these instances can vary from simple to downright challenging.

We believe the approach you take for your planning should offer as much variety as the hurdles that are bound to be thrown your way. By employing scenarios - or better yet, what if's - in your project, your team can determine location through the testing of a range of factors and situations without ever needing to reload input data or worry about building over previous models.

Results, settings, weights, and data - including revised study areas, should you allow it - are kept safe in your project to be referenced when needed.

EVALUATE YOUR OPTIONS...
AND THEN SOME
FIELD ANALYSIS

While we care about the input, what we really look forward to is the output.

To say the least, the Analysis tools found in Integrated Geomancy are robust. To give a bit more insight into their geoprocessing prowess, they provide your team with the means to determine the constructability of an area (i.e., where construction can and cannot take place) based on your source model as well as generate potential locations for well pad sites, pipeline gathering system corridors, access roads, and more. Don't believe us? Check out the Supported Assets for a look at just what this product can do.

Having options is valuable. Having the ability to customize them? Well, let's just say that the word "priceless" comes to mind.

TEMPORAL ANALYSIS
LET GEOMANCY BE YOUR
CRYSTAL BALL
TEMPORAL ANALYSIS

We all need a nudge in the right direction every once in a while. Rather than visiting your local fortune teller, let Integrated Geomancy cast your project's future.

Temporal Analysis tools - such as Backcasting and Forecast development - allow you to plan the construction of your network around phases, paying careful attention to the way in which these pieces connect for optimal placement at both location and time period. By approaching planning in such a way, businesses find it easier to determine a system's impact on the region, other projects in the pipeline, and their own budgets in turn.

REPORT, REPORT, REPORT
REPORT RESULTS

The results of your analysis may not get far if they are not effectively reported. To help bring together the details behind the input and output of the models present within the Geomancy Decision Engine, Reporting tools are provided to put pen to paper.

Resources like summaries of input datasets and weights, corridor boundaries and extractions, summaries on site suitability and unplaced wells, and even map package exports - to name a few! - further aide the tireless work you and your team put in to ensure you make the best possible decisions.
